Christmas in Paris with Krystal aka “Miss Paris Photo” Your American Photographer Abroad

Travel with our special guest, professional photographer Krystal aka “Miss Paris photo”, on a small group tour designed for women.

A small group 8-day festive and photo-filled holiday getaway designed exclusively for women who crave Christmas joy, culture, connection and a little sparkle under the Parisian lights.

Sunday, December 6 — Bienvenue à Paris !

On arrival at Roissy Charles de Gaulle or Orly airport, you’ll be welcomed by your driver who will take you to the charming 4-star boutique Hotel La Maison Favart. Take time to settle in, enjoy a swim in the heated indoor pool, or step out to explore the lively neighborhood.  Krystal and Absolutely’s tour escort will greet you at 6 pm for a welcome cocktail at the hotel, followed by a short stroll to an elegant Parisian bistrot, tucked away in one of the city’s most enchanting 19th-century alleyways.

Monday, December 7 — Paris landmarks & Wine tasting

This morning, you will take a fun and unique tour to discover Paris landmarks and the emblematic locations where the romantic comedy series “Emily in Paris” was shot. Along the way, Krystal will capture photos of tour guests against some of her favorite backdrops. Lunch will be in one of Paris’s most photographed restaurants, and you will explore the beloved Left Bank. It’s not just because that’s where the famous Shakespeare & Co bookstore is located or because Odette’s puff pastry shop is just around the corner. It’s also where the fully renovated Notre Dame Cathedral and a craft market are located. Your day will end at a 17th-century cellar for a private wine and cheese pairing experience with a certified sommelier.

Tuesday, December 8 – Strasbourg, the capital of Christmas

This morning, you’ll take a train through the countryside to Winter Wonderland: Strasbourg. After lunch, you’ll have free time to tour the Strasbourg Cathedral, described by Victor Hugo as “a skillful combination of monumental size and delicateness”.  You’ll also have time to browse some of the 300 stalls at the markets throughout the historical center, offering a wide range of sweets by master chocolatiers, gingerbread, local specialties such as pretzels, and loads of hand-crafted items. At nightfall, the Christmas lights will illuminate the town, which will be the ideal time for some mulled wine before boarding the train back to Paris. Dinner will be at leisure.

Wednesday, December 9 – Oh so chic Girly day  & Moulin Rouge

Your day will begin in style with a personal shopper at Lancaster, French leather handbags, followed by a guided tour of the elegant Guérlain boutique located on the Champs Elysée,  where you’ll discover the artistry and heritage behind one of France’s most celebrated perfumers. Lunch will be at the quintessential Ladurée flagship tea parlor where you’ll feel so chic nibbling on a decadent macaron under twinkling chandeliers… oh-so Parisian.
In the afternoon, you’ll step into the refined world of haute couture with a visit to La Galerie Dior museum, where you’ll  delve into the world of Christian Dior while admiring the exquisite gowns & accessories of this iconic fashion house. After an early dinner, this dazzling girly day will conclude with one of Paris’s most quintessential experiences, sipping champagne at the legendary Moulin Rouge cabaret show.

Thursday, December 10 – Monet, Montmartre & Comedy Show

Your day will begin with an intimate  artistic immersion, where you will be able to admire the impressionist Monet’s works in a small jewel of a museum, tucked away in Paris’ posh 16th arrondissement. After lunch on the go, walk in the footsteps of your host, Krystal, as she takes you through the Paris hilltop she now calls home, Montmartre. Stroll its cobblestone streets and soak up the charm of this iconic district where art and bohemian spirit still linger in the air. After lunch, put on an apron for a hands-on pastry workshop to make French desserts.
This evening, you’ll dive into the delightful quirks of Parisian life with Olivier Giraud’s hit comedy show, “How to Become a Parisian in One Hour”—an hour of insight that will leave you laughing.
Dinner will be at the historic café, a literary institution that once welcomed legends like Flaubert, Dumas, and Zola.

Friday, December 11 – A fairytale Christmas Palace

Today, Krystal will bring her camera along to capture fairytale moments at the family-owned  Chateau Vaux le Vicomte, which inspired the design of the Château de Versailles.  An expert guide will take you for a tour of the property and the castle which is transformed for the Christmas season with exquisite displays of garlands, illuminations, decorations, vintage toys, and baubles.  After lunch , you’ll have time to browse the Chateau’s  lovely boutique offering a wide range of gift ideas or stroll the grounds while nibbling grilled marshmallows.   In the afternoon, you’ll be taken to a salon in the chateau for a fully private workshop on the art of hosting a French dinner party, a heritage that has been classified by UNESCO. Dinner will be at leisure.

Saturday, December 12 – Opera house and Champagne

Your final day in Paris will begin with grandeur at the magnificent Opéra Garnier. A guided visit through its marble staircases, velvet-draped balconies, and gold-leafed foyers offers a dazzling glimpse into the Belle Époque—a true Parisian jewel that inspired The Phantom of the Opera. Lunch and the afternoon are yours to pick up last-minute stocking stuffers, take in the beauty of the Christmas displays at Galleries Lafayette, explore museums, and pack and prepare for your farewell dinner.
As evening falls, you’ll raise your glass of champagne for a toast to the magic of Christmas in Paris before heading to a chic and sumptuous dinner venue located in the Opera House.
